3 Days Desert Trip Marrakech To Fes Merzouga Camel Trek.

 DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – High ATLAS MOUNTAINS- KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU- BOUMALNE DADES VALLEY
(6 HOURS DRIVE)

In this breathtaking 3 days desert tour marrakech to Fes. around the eastern half of Morocco. Firstly, you will travel in a modern air-conditioned 4×4 car / van. We will pick you up from your Marrakech hotel / Raid around 7:00 AM . Our 3-days tour will start. Firstly, by travelling through the High Atlas Mountains. We will have breaks to take pictures and enjoy the panoramic views. Next, continue to the famous beautiful Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

Ait Ben haddou is a wonderful place. you will feel almost like you have stepped back in time to the days of gladiators. Berber desert Nomads and old ancient trading markets. After,  exploring the area and touring in the Kasbah. Also, you will have a delicious traditional lunch in the Ait Ben haddou.

After having lunch. we will move on to our next stop in Ouarzazate. Exploring and admiring the scenery of the city. where many famous historical movies have been filmed. such as, Game of thrones. Also, The Mummy. Additionally, Lawrence of Arabia. and so many others. The city of Ouarzazate is known as “The Gate to the Desert”.

Before leaving Ouarazazte the desert gate , we will have a chance to have a stop for coffee in the city , then we move on to Boumalne Dades Valley. Where you can relax at a private guesthouse hotel / Raid in the beautiful Dades with en-suite bathroom and enjoy the Moroccan delicious dishes in the evening.

Day 2: From Boumaine Dades – Todra Gorges – Tinejdad – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi Dunes (Merzouga)

    After breakfast at hotel / Raid in Boumalne Dades, our lovely 3 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes , departs to Todra Gorges passing by the wonderful Berber villages which are scattered along the road and stop in Todra Valley , we will pass through Tinghir city , to reach the beautiful Todra Valley , where we will admire its beautiful views, Todra Valley is full of palm trees.

Next, we will arrive to Todra Gorges which are currently one of the most popular and famous rock climbing destinations in the country of Morocco, here we will have a short walk through its grey and pink high canyons that reach 300m , then we are going tobhead to Tinjdad town and Touroug town where we will have a good delicious Moroccan lunch.

 then we go on to Erfoud where we will feel the beginning Saharan oasis of Tafilalet region after that we continue to the magic Sahara desert of Merzouga and majestic Erg Chebbi dunes , we arrive and have camel ride about one hour half so as to get to your Nomadic luxury berber tents camp during the camel trekking in the middle of the desert dunes.

 You will have a break to watch the sunset and enjoy the golden desert , try the sandboarding if you are interested , take pictures and enjoy the scenery – after the sun goes down you will continue your camel trekking to the Berber camp where you will be welcomed with tea.

Later on, you will have a delicious Moroccan dinner , then enjoy the Berber drums music around the fire camp , and overnight in your private luxury tent after you enjoy the starry sky in the middle of the sahara desert.

Day 3 : From Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifran – Ends in Fes [ 466 Km 

    Continuing our lovely Marrakech desert tour to Fes , after waking up in the third and last day in the middle of the sahara desert to witness the beautiful magic sunrise on top of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi , and try sandboading again if you want too , then after that having the breakfast at the camp and take a good hot shower then ride the camels (go back by camels or 4×4 as you prefer) again back to the hotel or the point where we will take our comfortable car / van towards Fes vising and passing through wonderful places of course , After being done with Merzouga sightseeing and I am sure you will wish to stay more days in the area because it’s really stunning.

we will move on to our next destination to head to Fes passing by the Ziz Valley , Midelt , Ifrane City known as the little Switzerland of Morocco due to the huge amount of snows that falls in it , and the famed Middle Atlas cedar forest with its Barbery apes in Azrou where you will have a short walk to take pictures and have a chance to meet the cute friendly monkeys and take pictures with them, of course we will have breaks for pictures all the way , the lunch will be on the road in Zayda or Timhdit or even in Azrou city all the areas are known with their delicious food, after having lunch we will carry on our way to Fes.
